

Prof. Neta Erez
Prof. Erez is studying the biology of tumor metastasis, focusing on the metastatic microenvironment. The main goal of her research is to characterize stromal and immune pathways that can be targeted by novel therapeutics.
Prof. Erez did her MSc and PhD at the Weizmann Institute of Science, and her Postdoctoral fellowship with Prof. Doug Hanahan at UCSF.
Prof. Erez is President of the Israeli Society for Cancer Research (ISCR), President-Elect of the Metastasis Research Society (MRS), a board member of the EACR, and a member of the AACR TME Working Group. She is also the former Vice Dean for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring and former Chair of Pathology at the Gray Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences.
Prof. Erez is also an enthusiastic mentor and advocate for women in science. She dedicates time and effort to nurturing young scientists. She won multiple awards for teaching, outstanding scientific achievements, and mentoring.
