דר' מרים תהילה, חוקרת ומרצה ומרכזת תוכנית לימודי המשך בביה"ס למקצועות הבריאות, בחוג לסיעוד.
בעלת ניסיון של 20 שנה כאחות טיפול נמרץ. בנוסף, עוסקת משנת 2002 כאחות אחראית מרפאת תזונה קלינית בבית החולים בילינסון. במהלך השנים האחרונות הצגתי עשרות עבודות בכנסESPEN האירופאי לתזונה. במסגרת מומחיותי בנושא פצעים, תזונה ומערכת החיסון, הוזמנתי להרצות בכנסים רבים בארץ ובעולם, מרצה במסגרת תוכנית העשרה של האיגוד האירופאי לתזונה בארץ.
את התואר הראשון למדתי באוניברסיטת בר אילן. את התואר השני, בנושא סיעוד בטיפול נמרץ, כשעבודת התיזה עסקה בהשפעת שמן דגים על המצב הנשימתי ופצעי לחץ של מטופלי טיפול נמרץ. את לימודי הדוקטורט בתזונה ומערכת החיסון ביצעתי בפקולטה לחקלאות של האוניברסיטה העברית.
ניתנה לי הזכות להיות חלק בחינוך וקידום מעורבותם של דור ההמשך בסיעוד באומדן וטיפול תזונתי. אני רואה חשיבות עצומה במעורבות הצוות הסיעודי בטיפול התזונתי שתביא לירידה בתופעה השכיחה של תת התזונה בבתי חולים ובקהילה
