The directors
Dr. Rubinstein, PhD, from the Department of Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine and a member of the Sagol School of Neuroscience, is an expert neurobiologist, with professional experience ranging from molecular level studies to understanding complex neurodevelopmental disorders in models for human disease.
Prof. Ditza Zachor, MD, is a Pediatric Neurologist at the Shamir (Assaf Harofeh) Medical Center and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, as well as the director of the Autism Center of ALUT, the National Association for Children with Autism. Her research focuses on outcomes in cognitive and adaptive domains, autism severity, friendship, quality of life, co-morbidities, medical problems and family stressors associated with autism.
