KDE-PD Grant for Research on Parkinson's Disease

The Tel Aviv University Kirschman Dvora Eleonora Fund for Parkinson's Disease (KDE-PD Fund) is generously supporting a venture of the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, to promote excellence in research between basic scientists (Preclinical Faculty at the Sackler School of Medicine) and MDs or PhDs (Clinical Faculty at the Sackler School of Medicine) in the field of Parkinson's disease

 

The KDE-PD fund will provide:

  • Seed money research grants for the amount of up to 100,000 NIS, supporting fundamental and translational research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, epidemiology, prevention and treatment of Parkinson's disease.
  • PhD, MSc, Post doc and MPH scholarships 

 

Criteria – Interactive collaboration between Preclinical Faculty (tenure-track PI) based at the Ramat Aviv TAU campus and PhD or MD Clinical Faculty at a TAU-affiliated hospital*. Only 1 application per PI can be submitted. Recipients of a current APPD Research Grants (Oct 2020 award) are not eligible to apply. Please note retired professors are not eligible to apply.

 

Proposals will be managed by the TAU Grant Committee and evaluated by outside reviewers.
