Training seminar on basic search and rescue techniques

EMPH students participated in a search and rescue training day. It was run by the Rescue One company, which hasinternational expertise in the field. 

The day included training teams and individuals in search and rescue techniques. These included: conducting needs assessments, use of equipment such as crowbars, jacks and pulleys, extraction of casualties, working as part of a search and rescue team and safety issues.
